is a 1943, Phantasies animated short subject
directed by Bob Wickersham, produced by Screen Gems, and released to
theatres by Columbia, The film is notable for its use of stylistic
design and unusual camera angles, the influence of Screen Gem employees who
had defected from Walt Disney Productions following the 1941 Disney
animator's strike. One of the last of the black and white

an early animated series on
American television, presented as part of the Captain Kangaroo
children's television show. Created by Gene Deitch under the Terrytoons
studio (which was a subsidiary of CBS, the network that broadcast
Captain Kangaroo), Tom Terrific ran in a series of five-minute cartoons
created specifically for the Captain Kangaroo show from 1957-1959, and
was rerun on Kangaroo,13 minutes this print has some water damage
the last minute of the show, otherwise excellent-
